It’s his fault that APS originally scheduled all of the info sessions during school day.

It’s his fault to not ensure more people were available on yesterday’s federal 
Holiday (teachers unpaid) to answer questions from 50+% who have Kaiser.

Teachers were paid yesterday and have been granted a day of leave to deal with healthcare transitions. There was also a session scheduled from 4-5 one day. Lots of people are making this more difficult than it needs to be. [/quote]

I don't think Duran should be fired but I don't think he/HR handled this well at all. Do you really think APS should be paying teachers to stand in line for FIVE HOURS? I don't. Many were not even able to talk to a rep. What are they supposed to do now? [/quote]

The bigger problem is that this is not the first management problem on his watch.  He needs to hire a stronger chief of staff because management is not his jam. [/quote]
