I hate the idea that we can use a abortion to solve the poverty rate or the homicide rate or other wise. I am 100% pro-choice but I am pro-choice in a context where we can also change our social safety net so that every child is wanted child and everyone in our society has their basic needs met. Abortion isn’t “solving” that problem but it does have that effect.

You’re getting at the root cause - along with better access to birth control (esp LARCs).

Every child a wanted child. I think we all know families in which the parents seem indifferent, at best, to their children, or families in which there are too many children. I absolutely support a strong safety net. [/quote]
