Do any of these Catholic schools recognize natural immunity to negate masking and quarantine rules for the kids that already had Covid and recovered (with evidence of antibodies from blood tests)?
Kids who have had Covid within the last 90 days don't have to quarantine if exposed, whether the positive case was masked or not. A conservative estimate has to be used for natural immunity when setting quarantine rules, because we don't really know how long it lasts for most people. It's hard to study it systematically in the real world. It probably lasts longer than 90 days but there isn't solid data to tell us how long it lasts for most people for the various variants, their vaccine status, immune system function, etc. It certainly doesn't last forever, regardless of what some RWNJs want to tell you. If it did people wouldn't be getting Covid twice.
