So the time is coming….. will Black Ops players be leaving their current club to join one of the other clubs? Will super club teams be formed that essentially mirror the Black Ops rosters for their respective age bands? And if so, which club will collect them?
There won't be a super team or lmass consolidation. There are some really good players on all 3 team and they will enjoy playing together instead of against each other for once. Every year NL and Express swap a few players that will probably happen this year, too, but not because of the Black Ops team. My take: 1) Most of the Express players on BlackOps go to Bullis - some of them basically get their education covered by their affiliation with the team. They will be playing together at school and will be stronger as a club team if they have those reps together. There are a few other players that might want to check out some other teams but most of them have been on DCE for so long that they probably aren't moving unless they aren't getting playing time on the main squad because of the older reclasses. 2) The NL players won't to go to DCE because they feel like they have a strong team right now. They have also watched the coaches and don't want to be abused like that (I know there is a difference between DCE and BLC - but it still happens), and unless they are Bullis boys they know they will not be a priority. There are a few that may try it out - they do every year. Usually the kids that swap don't play much unless they are reclassing. 3) The VLC boys have been playing together for a long time as well. The geography of practices just doesn't work to combine. I think all of these teams may pick up Madlax players.
