This is good. Another four years of a Democrat-controlled SB and people will get a good hard look at what their social engineering policies really mean.
I’m smiling just thinking about future Board meetings that aren’t weighted down by the endless posturing of the grandstanding Elizabeth Schultz and the meaningless blathering of the befuddled Tom Wilson.
I’m smiling just thinking about how everyone who voted for Democrats is going to get a taste of their own medicine shortly. I’ll try not to say “told you so.”
Don’t you have a concession video to produce? Maybe change your name to “Noises of Fairfax”?
Lol
I hope the Democrat school board realizes what will happen, especially in Dranesville, if One Fairfax is anything close to what Voices of Fairfax suggested. There are a lot of people that felt they had to vote Democrat this time due to the poor alternatives. That won't be the case next time if things are not handled correctly. Parents in Dranesville are energized to make sure their tax dollars are spent wisely and voices are heard. Elaine Tholen are you listening? We won't be a political punching bag anymore (see: McLean boundary voting this year).
+1 If anything good came out of this election, it’s that the SB got a very clear signal that we are watching carefully. I think they’ll be very careful about transparency now that they realize we are all tuned in.
Plenty of good things came out of this election, including some energetic, fresh faces on the School Board, and getting rid of Schultz and Wilson, both of whom opposed any efforts this year to address the overcrowding at McLean.
I don't think it's good that a non-party board is dominated by one party.
