Be patient. Child birth can bring forth a lot of emotion, challenge, medical issues that some people never, ever really discuss, especially if they don't know that others can truly relate to the experience. She could be exhausted, dealing with complications around recovery, or just taking in the reality of the change. Be supportive, her hormones will fluctuate, don't pull away. I had a really tough time and i am so thankful for friends that understood.

I am trying to be patient, there’s a bit history as she’s been my friend for 27 years. I’ll spare everyone the boring details. She also had placenta previa so Im extremely paranoid as with her last pregnancy she wanted us with her all the time as her babies were in the nicu. Like I told a friend I am annoyed and paranoid. I too am a parent so I’ve tried to really rationalize this one out. [/quote]

Update. Our friend group had sent multiple messages to no avail. She texted 3 days later with a name and picture. Nothing going on. She was just doing her weird “surprise” thing. Just because she likes over the top suprises doesn’t mean everyone else likes to be left in the dark. She had s high risk pregnancy so everyone was very concerned. [/quote]
