With such statements coming from our city leaders, it's safe to say that Rockville is changing rapidly. Any family valuing education should think hard before buying in Rockville.

Kings farm has boundary dividing in middle. One part goes to RM and other goes to Gaithersburg. I happen to buy in RM part even though I had to stretch it.. Everyone buying in RM part pays a premium. Not in too distant future this premium is going to disappear by RM part decreasing in value and matching Gaithersburg part. You do realize once Crown is built, your kiddos will be going to Gaithersburg High School, right?  It could actually happen much sooner, after the boundary changes are made by this private company they hired.  Gaithersburg High is closer to you,  and your whole neighborhood will increase Gaithersburg SES while they move lower SES out of Gaithersburg to Crown or other locations.

As a matter of fact, if I were you, I would WANT to keep the 150%.  Otherwise they may build Wegmans and move King Farm out to keep us below 120%.    [/quote]
