If Ivanka Trump divorced and then married a nonjew, had more kids, these news kids would be Jews and have rights to Israel?
What on God’s green earth are you talking about? Why are you people so obsessed with converts, who make up a minuscule proportion of the Jewish population? It is not a proselytizing religion, in case you were not aware. This has been explained multiple times, but either you can’t read or you choose to ignore it because it doesn’t fit your narrative. People who convert to Judaism don’t have “rights to Israel.” They can’t just show up in Tel Aviv and claim they own a random tract of land. They have to go through a formal immigration process. Israel is a sovereign nation, and as such, is free to grant preference in immigration matters as it sees fit. Since it was explicitly founded as a refuge for Jews fleeing persecution, Jewish identity is something it considers in immigration decisions. Converts to Judaism face persecution just like any other Jew. It is basically a form of affirmative action. Non-Jews can and do become citizens by naturalization, residence, or marrying an Israeli citizen. Israel has residency and citizenship laws for non-Jews that are equivalent to those of other liberal democracies. 20% of Israeli citizens are non-Jewish Arabs. Compare this to every single Muslim-majority country where the Jews make up ZERO percent of the population and in many cases are legally barred from obtaining citizenship. I’m just going to start copy and pasting this when people inevitably bring up conversion again.
