What I was told by a ECNL club director who also has done private training with my daughter for years. No reason to lie to me.

Not saying girls will be forced out of the Aug-July age groups but said ECNL does not want teams fighting the change. Again ECNL will not force anything but sent out email and have had zoom meetings with club directors about how they ideally want things to go.[/quote]Your original wording was confusing. However, it advised clubs to allow players the option to play up with their grade if they are misaligned. They don’t want kids not misaligned playing up if they are not a top 5 player on the older team.
