I am really saddened to hear that the ECNL is having a hard time with conferences this upcoming season, especially with all these successful ECNL-RL teams wanting into the top leagues and about whom to demote. They are trying to reorganize quite a few but are getting major pushback and some clubs going ballistic. Nothing but disfunction. I really. hope they can get it together.

Also, people are upset that in ECNL-RL having to play USYS and NPL teams in next year's playoffs in the new N1 league, just went they thought they didn't have to play them anymore when they, too were in those leagues. Total pandemonium!

Actually no. Top teams in ECNL-RL will still have their seperate playoffs. Mid-tier ECNL-RL teams will be invited to this new competition against N1 league teams.[/quote]

Right, but those mid-tier teams (or at least some parents) will feel like they're back to past, having to play those teams again. That's how ECNL-RL has grown at the expense of the USYS national league.[/quote]
