Coaches are not interested in older players that are graduating in X year playing on a team thats graduating in Y year. They have lists of players playing with their grade, playing up a grade, and transfer players to choose from. [/quote]Look, this doesn't match with reality. College coaches, youth coaches don't care about kids ages/grades, just their eligibility. Not sure on why you are trying to use something so obviously incorrect as your premise for creating a situation where your DD is the oldest on her club (while stating that being the oldest doesn't matter). I would think you would have moved on to some other ginned up excuse to make her the oldest by now.

Your gambit to try to get traction to make youth soccer grade based in a way to make your September girl the oldest hasn't worked. People have pointed out the flaws and the fact that clubs and leagues are forcing anybody to play up and in fact discourage playing up.
