A 96 mph DUI is not as big of a crime as paying a porn star  her bill of service and filing it as hush money under a business account. That’s worth life in prison. Now that’s really awful.

Walz could have defused the DUI conviction during his rise to power by volunteering or raising money for MADD.  He could then apologize, say that he learned his lesson, and point to MADD for some credibility.  He didn't.  He assumed the media wouldn't make a big deal of it, and the media hasn't.[/quote]
