Florida is another state which reports uptake data on the new booster. Despite its large retiree population, booster uptake has been minimal. Overall, 6% of Floridians have taken the new shot, which translates to 8% of adults. Only 18% of FL's 65+year olds have taken it.

Ages 6m - 4 years  0.4%
Ages 6m - 19 years 1%
Ages 20-64 years 4%
Ages 65+ years: 18%

The CDC's NIS phone survey estimates adult FL booster uptake at 11%, so the CDC is overestimating FL uptake, but by a smaller margin than in other states.
