How long Sinovac had been around? 
And why do you insist everyone must take these vaccinations when data on who is at risk is very clear on CDC website.  They even lowered childhood death counts by about 25%.  as far as mandates go, I do have ethical objections.  Nobody should be forced against their will to take medical intervention that would stay inside their body and that they cannot remove after whatever activity they were forced to take it for has ended.  It was one of the main arguments during the SCOTUS hearing on OSHA mandate.

Whether I take this medication myself or not should be up to me.  Maybe one day I will, after I have more confidence with it and after I feel like Covid is a higher risk than it was or a new variant has much higher mortality risk.  Science is changing and we are supposed to adapt, but in general I don't believe in mandates for medical interventions as ethical choice for civilized society.

Let's be honest here.  If something like Plague would befall us then people would voluntarily lock down, wear scuba gear on their heads and take any preventative when the risk of death is 50%.  The point is, you do not need to force anyone.  When something is this deadly no mandates are needed.  It's what ironically many people think, that Covid has 50% risk, it's why we are having these discussions with those in favor of mandates.  You don't have to deny that Covid is a serious illness that kills people or disables them, but you also don't have to exaggerate death rates or risk factors for low risk groups and covid recovered or deny natural immunity.
