Alec Baldwin was also an executive producer on the film so presumably he was aware of the hiring of the Asst Director with a reputation for being lax on safety and the hiring of an inexperienced armorer. I’m sure he feels awful but it sounds like this accident was waiting to happen based on the lack of safeguards in place. [/quote]
