In theory I agree with all of that.  The problem with a system like that is it ramps up the pressure to win in the short term so much that there is about a 100% chance that coaches would just pick physically dominant early developers to assure their status in the top leagues.   In many ways, the very existence of the DA reflects US Soccer's lack of trust in US youth clubs and coaches, and I think that lack of trust is well founded. [/quote]
