The Nazi Party rose to power by co-opting democratic institutions and using them against themselves. It's like a literal virus. It cannot be allowed gain a foothold. The Germans learned this lesson at terrible cost so others should not have to re-learn it. And Nazis do not respond to non-violence. Their entire existence was about violence, and the only way they were stopped was violence. Tiptoeing around and tsking and condemning through Facebook memes and Tweets isn't the way to go here. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.[/quote]
