I'd also add that some parents obsession with Ivy and other "high academic" schools is just as bad. The difference between any Ivy League school and being in the honors program at a good public university is very minimal in terms of quality of education, job prospects, and admission to grad schools. In fact, in terms of grad school admission, the public university actually gives us a better chance in most instances.[/quote]
