In reality, do you know who cares winning more than the clubs/coaches/players? Let me give you a hint: the crazy parents who pay the money. If team is losing, strong players' parent would look for a new team without a thought.
This is correct and why good teams wont roster Aug players playing down They have enough of a pool to choose from to not mess around with the oddballs. The oddballs will find each other at a club that let's them play down. Usually this is the cub desperate to field teams. Everyone will get better and they will get worse compared to players their grade in school.
You are assuming the first thing clubs ask about is grade, while they actually are asking about birth date. And you are seeing some clubs provide a voluntary optional form to provide information about a grade. Which tells you that most clubs will be by default based on birthday. So in that case most clubs won't even care about grade to consider whether you're playing up or down based on your grade.
Arlington asked all players their grade in school at tryouts this year..
The one where ECNL players weren't included?
They asked all players their grade in school They didn't need to ask ECNL players their grade in school because its already on every players ECNL players profile. Keep trying
