https://www.nbcwashington.com/video/news/local/mother-shares-heartache-after-son-is-shot-at-wootton-high-school/4058381/
This is very interesting. Very concerning why both of these kids were moved by MCPS to Wootton out of their home districts.
The student who was the shooter lives in the Wootton cluster, is what we were told at the parent meeting last night.
The shooter attended Blake last year. That's why there has been speculation that he's been at Wootton on a COSA.
Yeah, families move. Wootton parents are so crazy they need to chill on multiple levels.
d His family did not move. MCPS moved him and the victim. Neither lives in the cluster. MCPS failed both of these students.
His address is Chantilly Court in Rockville listed on arrest records. That is Wootton cluster. Rockshire neighborhood, Fallsmead area. Are you saying he lied about his address when arrested?? People move all the time ...
Try turning on a television instead of blogging here trying to spin... The shooter recently transferred from Blake HS in Silver Spring on a COSA. (It was on TV..) Even better - the mother of the kid shot complained last year (to his "mental health professional") her kid was bullied at Wootton and wanted to transfer but was denied? (On TV, another channel...) So it's true - neither of these kids should never had been at Wootton this year! Someone stirred the pot by COSA'ing one in and blocking one out!!!!! That's the real story that the press needs to dig into!!!
I heard it on TV- it must be true! Don't mind the arrest record showing otherwise.
The question you should be asking is why someone would move in the middle of the school year from SS to Rockville, but you already know that, right? Are you afraid the press will flip the rocks on Blake HS? Or why the kid wasn't transferred into a MCPS special school? Or who let that happen? The shooter recently transferred into Wootton from Blake HS in Silver Spring. The shooter claimed in court that he wasn't the aggressor. The kid shot is the same kid who told his "mental health professional" last year he was bullied at Wootton, making all the fuss that got the Principal replaced. His mom wanted to transfer him out but was blocked. There is also a claim that the kid shot was wearing an ankle monitor. Neither kid should have been at Wootton this year. Both kids should have been in MCPS special school facilities this year.
We moved mid school year. We bought a house and driving across town wouldn't work for me or my husband. So yes my child had to start at a new school mid year. Does that make me a bad mom or make my kid a delinquent? Little snowflake can transfer kid year and be just fine! All this talk about COSA waivers is just racism. You all don't want someone from "the wrong side of the tracks" around your snow flake. Not all kids that don't live inbounds for wootton are delinquents. How sad. Wootton community on dcum showing their true colors.
