Landon played Gonzaga in a scrimmage.  GZ played CHCHS yesterday, so GZ might have been a little tired.  Those in Purple not dressed on the sidelines looked like younger aspirants, not starters, but I would love to hear from a GZ fan who Gonzaga was missing.

Landon jumped on Gonzaga at first, maybe up four or five goals and Gonzaga narrowed the lead.  Landon  went silent in the second while Gonzaga put one behind the Landon Goalie.  Landon scored four  in the third to Gonzaga's two.   Both teams were big and athletic.  Gonzaga put a lot of pressure on the ball and adjacents.

I had the scoring at Q1 5-3, Q2 0-1, Q 3 4-2

Landon cleared the bench for the fourth, Gonzaga didn't have much bench to clear.  Q4-1-2.

A good scrimmage for two competitive teams.  I think they both can walk away optimistic about the rest of their seasons.  GZ has St. John's to chase and Landon has Bullis and Prep in addition to St. SSt.A and St. Albans.
