You have no idea how bad it was before the ranking app. It was all perception and everything was for sale. Even worse than it is now.

Yes, but it remains flawed because top teams often never play each other anymore. For example, I know where a 3rd ranked team in a state -- which rarely loses or ties and runs up the score -- but played mostly against USYS/ECRL -- recently lost to a lower-ranked but still top 10 GA team, whose record wasn't great because they played top-tier GA competition.[/quote]
