That’s absurd.  I am sure those documents exist, but it was obvious he was dead and what killed him.  Why do we need a paper form to establish this?  Time of death will not be accurate, it will be pronounced at the hospital.  They don’t pronounce until attempts at saving the person are over, but he was dead before they had him in that SUV I think.  Bleeding mostly stops when the heart stops because it isn’t pumping blood around any more.  What remains can seep out but not the same as the gushing you see from a severed artery.

The medical examiner has to have signed off, because he’s been embalmed.  They don’t do that until afterward.[/quote]
