I am totally confused by the camera thing. It says it was disconnected, but then “picked up a person” on camera minutes later (how- if it was disconnected). Yet they can’t get the video because she didn’t have a subscription.

I’m also confused but I think it’s that the front door camera was damaged or removed but there were other cameras.  They weren’t attached to a cloud service I guess.  I would think it still records some place but maybe only keeps a very short period like an hour or two.  It’s not like the cameras they had in liquor stores 20 years ago that had a hard tape that kept 24 hours of recording or something like that you see on the old Law and Order episodes.  
Maybe she primarily had it so she could see who was at the front door, and not for real security purposes.  [/quote]
