I know, not the VDA thread, but what makes you say that?  VDA can only play the teams on their schedule and not sure how much more they could have done with pushing for certain teams to play against in showcases, etc.  It certainly looked like they were doing a lot of "training" leading up to playoffs per their socials...but, their showing in the group in San Diego wasn't great for sure.

BP does a ton of promotion of the team and their players that's for sure.  If that's the goal, then he's winning there.

Just to further poke, Richmond United 09 is back in the Final 8 again for the 3rd time in 4 years.  Not sure what their secret sauce is to be able to continue to get our of group and win the knockout round to make it back.  San Diego Surf will be a tough opponent for sure for them in the Round of 8.  [/quote]
