I am outside of the DC , though not a swing state the population is very similar to those in swing states.

If you were alive in the 70s, you know that most current Democratic politicians are more conservative than their predecessors. A lot of them are more conservative than 20th century Republicans.

People urging Democrats to appeal to "moderates" or say that they themselves are "moderates" are really pretty conservative. [/quote]
