I'm nearly the same age as Taylor and you nailed it growing up on her music. It worked in my late teens and 20s, but now her peers have grown up and matured enough to realize that break ups happen, relationships end, and don't require a diss track everytime.

Her peers have families, marriages, relationships without marriage, break ups and have learned to deal with life while she hasn't. That's the price of fame.[/quote]

Funny that is basically what she says in But Daddy I love him: "Growing up precocious sometimes means not growing up at all"

All of the criticisms I read here have been addresses and acknowledged by Taylor herself at some point. She is certainly self-aware. [/quote]
