Teacher salaries in MoCo, for instance, are pretty similar to average RN salaries. Plus they can use the summers to either make more money or avoid child care costs. The problem here isn't pay. But public sector employees will never get massive pay. 10-20% increases in pay aren't going to change the shortage problem.[/quote]
