Unfortunately those are league teams.  I’d say 3 of the 5 would smoke any IAC team in football and 4 of the 5 in basketball.  You got to take the good with the bad.   What other sports is the IAC good in?  Boys field hockey?  [/quote]

Didn’t even know IAC played FB.  Lol Have they ever had a team recognized on the national level?  Last time I remember seeing any WCAC team playing them was a few years back.  Gonzaga destroyed Prep that year.  Probably why the WCAC teams don’t waste their time.  Little sisters of the poor.  [/quote]

Look, I was responding to a PP who claimed BI, Oconnell, St. Mary's Ryken, McNamara and one other bottom feeder WCAC school would smoke the IAC in football and basketball. The stats don't back that up. Nobody was trying to put the IAC on the same pedestal as the WCAC football powerhouses that have more than 2x the number of boys in the high school. Some IAC schools have less than 300 boys. They still do pretty well against the WCAC second tier. Relax, Gonzaga dad. Relax.
