Indeed. Montgomery County is doing a lot more testing. 5204 tests/week per 100,000 residents compared to 3758 tests/week per 100,000 residents in Prince George's County.  Accordingly, their test positivity is 46% higher- 2.36% compared to 1.62% in MoCo.

They've both been testing at similar rates throughout the pandemic. The case rate in PG is falling. The case rate (and the positivity rate) is going up in Montgomery County. I know someone once said if you test more you get more cases, but this is not that.[/quote]

PG County has fallen behind on testing.  MoCo's case numbers have plateaued, staying close to what they were when the mask mandate was lifted on the 28th.
