Developers are also negotiating for more density by right so they’re not on the hook for providing infrastructure that wouldn’t be necessary but for their projects. What’s remarkable to me is that so many people who are otherwise progressive have been suckered into lobbying by people who have otherwise fought tooth and nail against minimum wage, organized labor, environmental regulations, and affordable housing minimums.
