This poll sort of confirms what I had posted earlier in this thread https://www.jewishelectorateinstitute.org/poll-domestic-issues-dominate-the-priorities-of-the-jewish-electorate/ Trump is unpopular with most American Jews and his Israel policy mostly appeals to Evangelicals. The Jews that support him are in the minority, and further, opposing the Israeli Government is not antisemitic.
Really interesting findings. There is a definitely a "silent majority" undercurrent of dissatisfaction with Trump. However, this is VERY interesting. Disapproval of Trump is highest among those who are closest in age to the Holocaust. Younger American Jewish people have more favorable views toward Trump, relative to the Silent/Greatest Generation. It's a visual representation of not learning the lessons of history.
More significant than the difference between age groups is the difference between levels of Jewish observance. The really religious ones, the one who most strongly identify with their Jewishness, approve of Trump, while the less religious Jews disapprove. That also explains why Jews get so angry when they are told they are bad Jews for supporting Trump (which I've seen here a few times): basically, you have Jews who don't follow the traditional laws telling observant Jews that they are bad Jews. On a broader level, you have liberals telling conservatives they're bad. They know the observant Jews take their Jewishness seriously, so calling them "bad Jews" is just a way to attack them where they live. It's extra mean.
