http://dailycaller.com/2017/10/20/gold-star-widow-releases-trumps-call-after-husband-was-killed-in-afghanistan/ Interesting to listen to. This wife reacted differently.
Thanks for posting, pp. It is a real shame this Congresswoman felt the need to go public with HER impression of his call. It was not her place nor was it appropriate.
Why do you think our president should get a pass for screwing it up? He did it right once, but then he screwed it up when he did it another time.
Once again. It was not Wilson’s place to make this call public. Do you really, truly believe that Trump called to insult this widow and her heroic husband? Because, that is what Wilson is saying.
Nobody believes that he called IN ORDER TO insult her. But he DID insult her. And now instead of simply saying: I am sorry that what I said caused a grieving widow pain, when I intended to honor her husband's service and sacrifice - the assh*le is turning this into a disgraceful circus about how HE is so insulted. What happened to the man who insisted black football players aren't allowed to kneel because it's disrespectful to the troops? Remember back when their personal feelings and beliefs are supposed to take a back seat to honoring the troops? How about he do that now? Or is it ok because he's the king and no one dare speak ill of the king, or because they are a black family and how dare a black family speak ill to the king, or...? What? What could POSSIBLY make his behavior here appropriate? I know what you'll say: what makes it appropriate is that it's Trump, and you love Trump, so he can do whatever the f*ck he wants.
