Maybe there are also pictures of people in Charlottesville wearing Black Lives Matter T-shirts and carrying helmets and shields and guns. I haven't seen any, though. If you have, please post them.[/quote]

Yes I saw it. The target of their attack weren't random people on the street, but counter-demonstration people who did not have a permit to be there. Antifa/BLM members gathered at the statue the night before, even before the permitted demonstrators showed up, you saw that video right? Here's a link to CNN page:

Antifa and BLM counter protesters were throwing rocks and bottles at the white nationalists, as per their usual mode of making their "voices" heard. Notice what the white nationalist demonstrators brought with them: shields.

Again, nothing excuses violence towards another person, but lets not pretend this is a one-sided act of violence. There is plenty of blame to go around here and ultimately it is a failure of the VA government to enforce the law and keep the peace. Why Antifa/BLM members were allowed to stay without a permit is beyond me. [/quote]
