I just can't even watch Jenelle's segments. Something is up with Jace. I don't know if it's some kind of disorder that's family related, or ADHD, or related to something prenatal, or just general trauma, but his mannerisms, speech, and behavior are not typical for a kid his age. I'd feel worse about the custody situation, but we all know Jace is never going anywhere. Seeing everyone fawn all over how good Ali is with her wheelchair just shows how infrequently it's used. It shouldn't be a novelty, it should be her mode of transport. Leah and company's attitude about Ali's disability reminds me of people who strive for "colorblindness" and claim they don't see race. It might have good intentions, but Leah insists that Ali is THE SAME as everyone else, which simply isn't true. Ali might be as capable of doing the same tasks, maybe in her own way, but she's not the same. Being able to run like her sister shouldn't be a family goal. That family really needs to normalize her condition by having the wheelchair in constant use, along with her other necessary equipment. Ali is not "the same" as her sisters but she's still normal. I think that's the healthier message. I almost had to laugh when Jo and Kail were discussing the fight. Jo kept telling her how Isaac reacted and warning her that it could "break him" (so sad, but so well put) and Kail's only reaction was to agree, blame Javi, and say he shouldn't have seen them fight. Then Jo reiterated how Isaac felt, and Kail repeating what she had said. She just didn't get what he was telling her. It doesn't matter whose fault it was, he's trying to tell her about Isaac, so that she can be aware when he comes back to her house. Jo is not interested in your bitch session about Javi. Chelsea and Aubree continue to be the cutest. Love that Chelsea was genuinely excited for Aubree's first day of first grade, even after Aubree had left the car.
