People who know Remy in real life have tried, including her teachers. We can all see that she's on the spectrum and Jen refuses to get her diagnosed or get the right treatment for her. She could be doing much better if Jen would actually get her help instead of sending her away. That is Jen's solution to it all. She sent her to a summer-long camp and then sent her to Spain. Remy is a handful that is true but that is because she's never been in a program or had a therapist experienced with autism that would help her with her anxiety and social skills so she just keeps acting the same way with no guidance and Jen just making light of it. The feeling is that Jen is just biding her time before Remy leaves home. People I know who have tried to talk to her about this say it's impossible because she is evasive and just tries to be funny and cute and waves it away as Remy being quirky. Like how she describes the son as just being spirited when he gets a DUI.

Oh and she got Remy a therapist and then started seeing the same therapist for her own therapy and then started a Me Course with her. So even Remy's therapist got stolen by Jen.[/quote]
