Post meant to convey that DC as an area is as strong and deep as it has been.  And FWIW, orange is doing as well as normal this year.  It is the case that a large number of good players went north to Maryland clubs in the '28 year, much more than usual.
Skywalkers is the 5th ranked Maryland club.  Laxachusetts is the 2nd club in Mass for the '28 year.  It'd be expected or hoped for that any team is capable of beating some teams just ahead of them in the rankings, just as it's expected that they will lose some games to teams behind them at times.  Which they have.

They still have 12 months.  If anybody's improvement stops their freshman year in high school and becomes their high water mark, generally that's a choice they made.
