Funny enough, Putin confirms that the Istanbul deal was done and agreed upon, and that BoJo came in and sabotaged the whole deal. So negotiations could have worked, but they are likely off the table now. Not sure what Ukraine could offer now that Russia would actually accept. [/quote]

The Ukrainians basically say the same thing:
