They can try but those names are known and if DOJ tries to get cute, someone will leak them. But, there is so much distrust that everyone will choose to believe what they want so this entire episode is a wash.

This has spanned 5 presidencies. It’s not political. I’m glad to see Summers fall but we need more. We need to know the names of the perpetrators AND enablers.

What you're going to find is that Epstein was a perv who is now dead, a lot of the girls (but not all) were over 18, and some of the girls were co-conspirators in the nasty business with Epstein, but that they were pushed in that direction by Epstein and Maxwell.  Some of the girls wanted to replace Maxwell themselves.

It's already known that some girls were recruiting other girls. Why do think that's news? It doesn't make them any less victimized. I still have a lot of sympathy for them, being brainwashed by older perverted men and Maxwell. And of course the girls were paid. That does not shift the blame in any way.

Yeah acting like this is revelatory and unique is pretty nuts.  This is an extremely common practice in human trafficking to use victims to lure other victims.  Doesn't shift blame at all, they're being coerced and controlled. [/quote]
