Maybe they have the players they need but the coaches haven't gotten them to gel well. Seemed to be a lot of individuals trying to play hero play hero ball when I watched. Not sure if they are coached that way or if the coaches haven't been able to change habits, but perhaps some of the talent is untapped.[/quote]

Cap Blue 28 coach's last club team finished their run at #2 in the country, and he has coached high school ball for decades, so he knows what he is doing.  Plays are called by the coaches and include isolation plays, as well as individual-looking plays designed to move the defense and draw doubles, both from up high and from X--not hero ball.  [/quote]

Heard he burned out and checked out on his HS team at the last minute this year.  Gotta wonder if he's into another uphill climb with a team that needs a lot of work after such a great 2025 run or is he just counting the tournament weekends until retirement...[/quote]Did you hear it from the same place as Anonymous thinking there's too much hero ball?
