There's nothing wrong with having a gay child. But a gay child may not be super happy living in a conservative, pro-life, religious household. [Report Post] This thread somehow got on religion and being gay.Not the original topic...which was narcissism.
I only think that it will be interesting when one of those kids does write a tell all book. I have a feeling, like another poster, that there will be some very interesting behind the scenes stuff that will be completely counter to the saccharin sweet image that they try to portray. And my money for who will write the book is on whichever one of those kids is gay - and no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a kid being gay. But to live in a house where that is considered to be such a sin/counter to all they stand for? THAT would be hard. My kids wouldn't write a book for THAT reason because we teach our girls acceptance and love of everyone. I'm glad we now live in a time when, if one or both of them is gay, they can marry whoever the hell the want and live life as they please. They deserve to be happy. Fine whatever, the Duggar kids SEEM respectful, but it comes off as really creepy and stepford like to me. They really don't know any different....for anything. I think they are no better than that horrible Kate woman anymore - they get to live the life they do now because of reality TV.
