When the characters finally get to Oz the whole cast of citizens are all wearing THE ONLY COLOR to wear (really just white costumes under changing lights). They're all chanting in unison while circling, "THE COLOR IS ... BLUE !!"

And then they promenade a little and the lights change again. They all immediately change directions and start chanting, "THE COLOR IS GREEN !! YELLOW !! PURPLE !!" And so on.

The wizard just adjusts the lights whenever he wants and everyone continues to walk like those ants that suicide themselves by forming some kind of inescapable death circle.

It's exactly what I always think of, as soon as I hear something out of someone's mouth I know what news sources they've been watching and what words have been poured into their brains. that very day. Until they're told to "think" something else.

There is no actual thinking though.

I know someone who yelled back at me in all caps when I just asked what they thought socialism actually was.

To them it's when Biden comes into their home like in Dr. Zhivago and moves all the people from the next city into all their spare bedrooms and make them share all their stuff AND keep paying for it all. It makes no sense but they've thought that way for quite a while now.

They even set up annual tax exclusion gifts for all their kids because they didn't want "Obama to come get it"[/quote]
