It is not uncommon for house and yard maintenance to decline when someone has to take care of an elderly person with dementia. Your emphasis is on caring for that person and even your own health and hygiene takes a backseat. His kids were living their own lives and everything worked until the caregiver came down with a rare and deadly disease. [/quote]
