You've just described the vast majority of parents on this forum.  They *actually* think they know all the details about OTHER people's kids - their GPAs, test scores, ECs, etc.  The hubris is astounding but so satisfying when someone like your kid does very well and they can't stand it.  Happened to us too.[/quote]
