Indy-An inability to score and tons of turnovers has been a staple of the Indy offense since the current head coach joined the team. He was the offensive coordinator under the previous head coach where the offense had the same issues. Not to mention I’ve heard the Indy coach is universally disliked by the players, parents, and other coaches which he dismisses as jealousy of himself and his son. I’m not convinced of talent mentioned either as I think people assume that because some players are part of the VLC 2026 team that Indy is chocked full of talent but my understanding is that the Indy players don’t get much playing time as it’s all PVI. I agree this may be Indys best chance in looking at the roster barring a re-class they graduate most of the offense, two solid defensive starters, and the FOGO.

Riverside - It hasn’t seemed to matter if Riverside graduates players as they always seem to have more right behind them and they have a system that is proven. It will be interesting to see early on how they look. I would still put them at the top with the states going through them.

Midlothian, DF, and other Class 5 - Midlothian went far, took out Indy then ran into the Riverside buzzsaw. Not sure who remains on that team but they could still be in the mix. These VA south schools remain a mystery sometimes to the NOVA folks but I remember going to the Patrick Henry vs Riverside semi in 2023 where Riverside thought they would steamroll them and only won by a point in OT.
