Weird use of passive voice.  You don’t know if he raped her or not, the allegations seem credible and some of the undisputed facts are troubling enough that he shouldn’t be confirmed.  What’s really upsetting is that we are going to blame the failure of his nomination on a woman, instead of the real reasons he’s unsuitable.

Actually, it doesn’t seem credible at all.  Literally zero witness (and there were a lot of people interacting with her up to and after the alleged event) can corroborate her story about being drugged. Witness said appeared completely sober the entire night, including the staff member that talked to her minutes before she willingly walked arm and arm smiling and laughing up to his room.  Yet…she “doesn’t remember how she got there.”  Those that investigated the entire string of events and witnesses found this was not a credible claim. [/quote]
