Thanks OP you and some of the other encouraged me to go out and get my CCW.
Come back and tell us when you use it to successfully defend yourself. Thanks!
https://twitter.com/Killmoenetwork/status/1718667243758719321 Well, this person successfully defended themselves last night.
You celebrating a dead teenager?
Not celebrating, but the PP was acting like no one could possibly defend themselves with a gun they have a license for, and this person obviously did. It’s also not a celebration to accurately point out that if you want to go around sticking guns in people’s faces sometimes the consequence is you are going to hold up the wrong person. I believe the kids call that “f*ck around and find out”.
the carjacked person was a federal security officer, so not just a random accountant who decided to get a gun with a few training sessions at the range. and he shot an un-armed teen, hard to lose a gun fight against somebody who is making up a gun with his fingers. the reality is that if you are sitting in a car and multiple people get around you and one put a gun to your window, you are much more likely to survive if you get out of the car (they normally block the car so you cant drive away) and let them get it than take out your gun too. they are just going to shoot you first.
He assessed the situation and defended himself appropriately, as any one with training would do. It's the kid's bad luck that he approached someone who knew exactly how to walk away alive.
