At least in Succession you kind of root for Siobhan just to win because she's good at what she does. These characters were all buffoons or hateful or both.[/quote]

Stanley Kubrick’s entire catalog is full of flawed characters and unlikeable people and he has some of the best movies of all time. It’s bizarre that people need someone to route for to enjoy a movie or a show. Art isn’t football. It isn’t always supposed to give you people to route for. [/quote]
