In the episode where they move out of the old tiny house, check for Josh. He's bald. Why? Because he was at a fellow churchgoers property shoveling out a pond as discipline for stuff he'd done. His head was shaved, he wasn't permitted to talk, and was sort of tossed through a bunch of religious rituals. When TLC showed up, the Duggars brought him out of pond-digging-land in front of the camera and pretended stuff was normal. Filming was over, he went right back. No way TLC producers didn't notice. Basically, the molestation stuff wasn't concerning enough for anyone to take action. It took whistleblowers to cause the police and authorities to show up. If it wasn't for people speaking out, Jim Bob and Michelle would've kept this under wraps and kept the TLC gravy train going to years."
