[/quote] Palestinians can’t even get chocolate into the Gaza Strip. Hamas is now an institution with billions at their disposal from Qatar, a foreign nation. How can they get this cash without the interception from Israel? There’s no airport in the Palestinian Territories. Do you get where I’m going with this? 30 years ago, Hamas was led by a paralyzed blind sheik out of his home. They had no money. Now they have money for SUV’s, RPG’s, tunnels, building schools, hospitals, paying Gazans a government salary. The best they could get is moral support and labor from Palestinians, but they couldn’t survive without Qatar, Turkey, Iran, other ME countries, Israel. They dont get anything from Palestinians. Israel does not want a moderate Gazan government because then the U.S. would pressure them back to two state solution talks which they absolutely do not want. Hamas is the devil Israel is ok with, as they serve a useful purpose.
